Morpheus8 is the most versatile temperature controlled radiofrequency microneedling technology on the market.  It can treat a wide variety of skin concerns, such as skin laxity on the face and body, active acne, and stubborn fat pockets. 

Generally with laxity and skin texture, you will notice immediate tightening and improvement over 5 days followed by gradual improvement that becomes more noticeable after 3 months and continues to improve over 6 months.  

For acne a series of 4 treatments are necessary and you will notice improvement after the first two with most evident improvement over a six month period.  This is similar for Excessive sweating since both treatments involve changing function of either the sebaceous glands or sweat glands.

The best results are achieved with a series of treatments. The number of treatments can vary between 3-6 depending on your specific needs and aesthetic goals.  Acne will require 4 sessions and dermal lifting will require 3.  

Thirty minutes to an hour before the treatment your clinician will place a topical anesthetic on your skin to reduce the sensation during the procedure. The Morpheus8 treatment is done through a stamping motion. With each stamp, our medical grade silicone coated pins will penetrate the skin at various depths, depending on the skin concern being treated, and deliver deep radiofrequency heating.  Following treatment PRP may be applied to hasten healing time and give an added boost to collagen production.  A hydrating moisturizer will be applied to help with skin healing.

For the first 24 hours you should keep your skin protected according to your clinician’s instructions, but after that you should be able to go about your normal activities. After the first 24 hours you can apply a mineral makeup, such as our Osmosis Beauty Mineral Makeup Line. Some redness and swelling can appear after a few hours of your treatment, and may persist for 1-2 days. 

Morpheus8  induces a permanent improvement in skin laxity and subdermal fat remodelling however, the effects of age continue.
