DR. HARPREET LOTAY
BSC, MD, CCFP
Dr. Lotay is originally from the East Kootenays and graduated from the University of Alberta with distinction. She has been serving patients in Kamloops for over two decades. She initially started her career as a family physician and spent some time in Kamloops as a locum. Her interest in primary care dermatology began during her time in Texas where she was an assistant professor in the department of Family Medicine at the University of Texas in San Antonio.
She addresses a wide spectrum of dermatologic issues, and continues to attend many national and international conferences on clinical dermatology, medical lasers, and dermoscopy. She completed a post-graduate diploma in clinical dermatology through Queen Mary, University of London School of Medicine. She has received certification in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland.
Dr. Lotay has a particular interest in the treatment and diagnosis of hair loss. She has completed an intensive course at the Women’s College Hospital in Toronto under Dr. Jeff Donovan, a leading hair loss dermatologist. She attends many international meetings on hair loss on a regular basis.
Her interest and training in aesthetic medicine began in 2001 when she completed a private practice fellowship in Philadelphia. Dr. Lotay balances the pursuit of beautifying techniques with safe, scientific and evidence-based interventions. She is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Her expertise lies in creating a natural refreshed look using Botox, dermal fillers and laser treatments.
Dr. Lotay is a fellow of the Canadian Society of Phlebology, and provides sclerotherapy treatment for varicose veins.
She enjoys educating her patients on skin care as well as teaching medical students and residents. She currently teaches medical students during their dermatology block at the University of British Columbia Okanagan.

Theresa graduated from her LPN with distinction and her career has encompassed many aspects of nursing. Her most recent accomplishments include teaching new nursing students in the Sprott Shaw Care Aid and Practical Nursing Programs where she focused on instilling an attitude of lifetime learning and providing the best standards of care to patients.
Theresa’s interest in aesthetics was sparked by her time spent as a provider in a leading medical aesthetics clinic in Manitoba, where she provided laser services and sclerotherapy treatments for spider veins. Her love of wellness, skin care and a natural approach to beauty and graceful aging is what she enjoys sharing with her patients. She continues to further her education by enrolling in programs on Laser Safety, Laser use and is a member of the Canadian Association or Aesthetic Specialty Nurses.
Theresa enjoys group exercise classes, which she taught for many years and her time at home is spent staying active with her daughters. Educating them as well as her patients about sun safety, skin care that optimizes skin health is a passion.
Crystal is currently taking time to be with her family on maternity leave.
